To foster collaborative scientific research, The Halpin Foundation has co-sponsored the Conference with the Mario Negri Institute – Bergamo, Italy. The 2011 conference was supervised by Giuseppe Remuzzi, M.D. F.R.C.P. Dr. Remuzzi is the Director of the Mario Negri Institute for Pharmacological Research of the Negri Bergamo Laboratories, and Director of the Department of Nephrology and Dialysis at the Ospedali Riuniti of Bergamo Hospital in Bergamo, Italy.

The 2018 Conference will cover the latest research and the translational opportunities to create therapies to address Membranous Nephropathy (MN).
